How to volunteer
Both legal entities and individuals can join the ranks of firefighting volunteers.
Excerpts from the Charter of the RGOO “BDPO”
CHAPTER 3. MEMBERS OF RGOO “BDPO”, THEIR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS:
15. Members of the RGOO “BDPO” are the Republic of Belarus represented by an authorized state body acting on its behalf, legal entities and citizens who recognize this Charter.
Citizens under the age of 16 can be members of the RGOO “BDPO” with the written consent of their legal representatives.
The interaction of the authorized state body with the RGOO “BDPO” is carried out by the officials of this body, determined by its head.
Members of the RGOO “BDPO” from among legal entities exercise the rights and bear the obligations stipulated by this Charter and other acts of legislation through their authorized representatives (officials).
Members of the RGOO “BDPO” from among citizens must be members of one of the primary organizations of this association.
16. Admission of citizens to the RGOO “BDPO” is carried out by the decision of the general meeting of the primary organization (in primary organizations with more than 5-10 members – by the decision of the council of the primary organization) or higher governing bodies upon a written statement or oral statement by entering it into the minutes of the meeting. The decision is taken by a majority of votes of the members of the RGOO “BDPO” present at the general meeting of the primary organization, or members of the council of the primary organization with more than 10 members, or members of the superior governing body of the RGOO “BDPO”.
Admission to members of RGOO “BDPO” of legal entities is carried out by the decision of the supervisory board of RGOO “BDPO” on the basis of a written request from their heads.
Members of the RGOO “BDPO” from among citizens are awarded membership cards, from among legal entities – certificates of membership in the RGOO “BDPO”. Forms of membership cards and certificates of membership are approved by the republican council of the RGOO “BDPO”.
