8 Eighth In the capital, the action “Youth for Security!”

Employees of the Grodno city department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and members of the Grodno OOS RGOO “BDPO” in the framework of the republican action “Children are in the spotlight!” conducted “Safety Lessons” in secondary schools of the regional center.

Together with the schoolchildren, they repeated the rules of life safety, explained the meaning of the evacuation plan and safety signs, in a playful way worked out the algorithms for actions in the event of various non-standard situations: how to behave in a crowd, what dangers can arise at home and on the street. The children were able to test their knowledge with the help of the game “Steps of Rescue”, and the most courageous and confident in their abilities passed the “Safety Exam”. The rescuers put down marks for successfully passed the exam in a special diary and handed it to the student for further independent study throughout the year.

At the end of the events, the children enjoyed watching the animated series “The Magic Book of the Ministry of Emergencies” and received brochures, coloring books, class schedules, bookmarks and other visual and visual products as a souvenir, which will become a useful reminder of safety rules for them.
